Hi There :-)

When I searched, and search long and hard I did, I also found that the link you kindly sent me, but noticed that it was for the 12v64, not the 12x64 that I own. I understand that there are differences in the wifi cards for these two machines, so I really wanted to know which ones I need for my machine, maybe someone owns one and could have a look in their device manager for me?

Thanks for your help though

very much appreciated :-)

I can take a look at the type on the 12x64. Having a lot of issues with it, atm disabling and re-enabling is the only work around.

that would be great, thanks, basically I was doing the same as you, but I was uninstalling and reinstalling it..... after the first few times ended up with the same problem I thought I would uninstall drivers too, assuming that windows would reinstall them....

well the rest is history, Windows sees an unrecognised device!
