Hi there, so first ill start this with an apology as not used anything windows for years properly.

So here goes I done a fee of the bios tweaks and managed to not brick my device.

Next up was the SD card fix, followed the instructions and at every turn it told me the drivers where up to date and don't believe it changed a thing, have I done some?hing ? Just purchased yesterday preload with windows 10.

Secondly how do I GTE games to work from SD card ? Tried dragging and dropping steam to D:\Drive didn't work, is there a set way to do it ?

Thanks in advanced

You press and hold volume up while powering up

Windows recovery is also accessed by holding volume down on and power or vice versa

Thanks guys, I ended up just using an otg and keyboard to do it.
These tips have been brilliant. So easy to get the sd reader to recognise bigger cards, and the bios tweaks and services you suggested disabling have made a really noticeable difference in performance from out of the box.
Having done them all at once, the experience has resulted in changes I would normally expect from adding ram to a system.
