Is it randomly disconnecting? have you tried hammering it for a few hours (i.e. copying back and fore to it)?
As your not going to be removing card, you can set it to write caching, speeds things up.

Any info on card, i.e. price /link?

Downloading Batman Arkham origins, will finish downloading it today, card has for 2 days so far always been seen without issues.I had major problems with scandisk 128gb not being seen most of the time and no problems with samsung 128gb.Continueing to test 256gb samsung, no problems so far but yet to see how fast gaming is.Will post soon my findings.
I bought the 256 Samsung card on Ebay from seller "parags4456" (won bid) for £58 and £25 postage.

I got both a Samsung Evo 128GB and A Sandisk Ultra 128GB

Firstly I bench-marked them on a regular PC With a USB 3.0 Reader

According to The benchmark the Sandisk trounced the Samsung with pm all read and write operations , the Sandisk was twice as fast

The speeds of the sandisk was also faster in the linx with the standard generic drivers , however there is stability issues with the Sandisk , the card required special drivers to stop it from dismounting . When I installed the drivers the speed of the Sandisk was bottle necked to 10MBps

However the Samsung Evo trumps the Sandisk and is four times faster at 40MBps (sequential read) and stable as a rock without any need to mess with drivers

For that reason I would not advise on Sandisk with this device

I got a Samsung Evo 128GB and it works great with the other drivers from this forum. With the original drivers it keep on unmounting the card. Both the kingston 64gb and the samsung 128gb.
