According to steam Fallout 3 GOTD is compatible with XP and Vista, so try running it in compatibility mode for Vista and see if that helps.

I have no idea if it's still relevant but I noticed a really old post from four and a half years ago that said it didn't like quad cores and to make some ini changes to force it to only use two of them.

Code: Select all
Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
Find the line:
bUseThreadedAI=0
change it to:
bUseThreadedAI=1
Add another line after it and insert:
iNumHWThreads=2
This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.

Impressive.

That said, I have a Steam account with access to over 2,000 games between myself and my partner, I'd spend a lifetime testing them all.

So I'm lazy, I use Streaming between my PC and the Vision Tablet! I may install games like Cook, Serve, Delicious however once I get an SD Card.

Skyrim Legendary Edition (with all dlc and new textures) working in medium res, have to install the Nvidia card patch (believe it or not) which fools the Vision into thinking you've got a different video card

Working great

You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register

INSTALLING:
Extract files from archive in to the game directory or where game execution file exist (.exe).
Run game launcher to reconfigure it again.

Change screen size to 16:9 in launcher

Should also work for Skyrim Special Edition (EDIT>>>) Skyrim SE wont work as needs 64bit operating system

(needs mouse/keyboard initially to type prisoners name and tick the 360 controller box in settings)

After about a week of trying bought a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to get Star Wars Battlefront 2 to work, runs fine but would recommend tweaking a few of the settings. I have high textures, low water, shadows and lighting I think plus my view distance nearly full and it runs about 30 FPS no noticeable drops. Also Knights of the old Republic gets past the menu with keyboard and mouse but haven't played it yet will update you on that later... Tried Star Wars the force Unleashed and it isn't playable running at about 18 FPS constantly but I am going to try and see if I can boost the performance in my tablet for games in anyway. If anybody knows how to would be appreciated. I'll post these on list in the future when I get a bit of time, thanks for the list... Helped me end up deciding to purchase this!

Im sure I have mentioned this a few times. Alot of games refuse to work if no keyboard and mouse is connected.
Im currently using Ipega controller as its seen as keyboard / mouse / controller in one. So there by tricking game as it were.

Hoping to try Mass Effect Andromeda on my linx Vision later this week. So I can take it on Holiday with me. Other than that, I suppose I could just stream it.
