Linx 1010 cover review

Postby jessnuman » December 22nd, 2015, 11:16 am

I bought one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linx-1010B-1010 ... +1010+10.1

It is excellent and fits perfectly, with every hole for usb, speakers, mic etc cut out exactly.
Works great with the keyboard dock too as well as just in tablet mode and is quick and easy to change configuration and get the linx out.
The stand at back is the normal you see for tablet cases but is strong and stands up very well.
It even has a little pen holder on the top if you use a touch pen.

I have the same cover/case and agree it is great. I just need to sort out a screen protector - suggestions?

Have you posted a review on Amazon? The ones I have read say that there is no cut out for the on/off button or the volume control. It also only appears to come in black. I really fancied the Z-Vintage Map, but that only seems to be available for the Linx 7. I will get the keyboard (when I am allowed to - why is there a 30 day wait?) but really wanted a case just for the tablet.

Ive not posted a review on amazon yet, but it will be 5 stars.
The cut outs are all perfect as I have said and its available in black, green, red, blue and purple for the 1010b.
Mine is black.

I've just got the Targus formfit case for the tablet on its own, as I didn't want to carry the keyboard around.
It fits the tablet very well, with all the cut-outs being in the right places.

I would have preferred a choice of colour, so may have to find some stickers to personalise it (and to make it stand out a bit more if it's put down on a black chair). It certainly feels much more secure and I felt able to take it into the conservatory (which has a tiled floor).

I'm still waiting for the keyboard.

Thanks for the link!

I've been after one of these for a while and this is by far the cheapest I've seen it.

Do you find that the tablet falls over after a while? I've got this and after a few minutes it slips and the tablet falls over. Annoyingly it did this and fell off my desk. Luckily no damage....
