I'd like to know that too.

The official instructions say " Important: Use only compatible memory cards
approved for use with this device. Incompatible cards
may damage both the memory card and the tablet
and may corrupt data stored on the card." BUT it doesn't say what is an approved compatible memory card or list what sort of card is incompatible :?

Please Linx can you make info clearer on your next update of instructions regarding Compatible and largest size of SD card that your tablet(s) accept.

They basically mean use a microSDXC card.

I know that they can definitely use up to 64gb cards. (That's what I'm using in my 1010). Also, it's really easy to swap the memory cards over, so to be honest if you need more than 64GB, I would say just buy 2 64GB cards as it would be cheaper than buying a single 128GB card. (£34 for 2 64GB cards, compared to £50 for a single 128GB card)

Have a look at this topic....

Samsung Evo 128Gb cards seem to work.

One reason why I want as large a card as possible is because, as per the link I posted, I want to set it up as a VHD - even though as you say for "bytes per buck", the 64gb cards are currently better value.

I'm running an extremely cheap unbranded 256GB Class 10 microSD card in my 1010, had no issues with it so far.

I assume it doesn't need an adapter? Amazon have a 64 gb one for £12.17 without the adapter and £13.55 with one.

I'm not sure whether I really need extra storage as I might not use the tablet very much (it was a present) but the 32gb supplied does not seem very generous.

You only need the adapter if you're sticking it in a slot for a full size sd card.

I'm such a numpty, well thanks to this forum and after owning it since before christmas I've just realised that my 1010b has a micro sd card slot hahaha, well that 64gb usb drive can be used for something else.

Now do I give an unbranded 128gb @ £12.99 a try or not..........................
