Bricked Mainboard!

Postby JohnG79 » April 2nd, 2016, 2:05 am

My partner flashed my linx tablet with bios for another device!

There is now no indications from the screen.

When the vol- and pwr are held together for 15 - 20 seconds the light comes on and is green. is this some sort of 'on'?
Holding pwr then will turn this off.

- Can the bios be flashed via an appropriately prepared SD card?
- Is there a software and cable combination that can be used? (remember it's windows not android)
- Are there pins I need to short or a cable I need to make at home?

I'm desperate to revive my device so input from enthusiasts or experts will be much appreciated!

Cheers.

Would it be possible for you to post a fix for this publicly please as i have the same problem with my Linx 1010
i have been struggling with this for days now and each time i try to install windows 8.1 32 bit on to the Linx 1010 i 1, cant use the touch screen during the install menus i have to plug in a USB Keyboard ( i got the tablet without its mountable keyboard) and 2, none of the partitions on the tablet "apparently" have enough space to install windows onto it.
This is a 16gb Linx 1010 so i am also wondering why i am unable to access the other 15Gbs of space in this device
