Linx 1010 Keyboard

Can anyone help / suggest a fix please.

When I attach my 1010 keyboard the tablet recognises that the keyboard is attached but the keyboard itself wont work, keys, trackpad etc. PC World insist the tablet is OK and wont change it, neither will they try the keyboard on another tablet for me (I can understand that - they have no demo models). Linx support told me to reset the tablet and I've reinstalled windows 10. Still no luck.

If any of you technical people have a suggestion I would appreciate your advice.

HI, Have just received my Linx, and has same problem, the cursor pad works, thats it, all keys no response. IT is indictas as instlled, and yes, tried uninstall, reinstall, same problem.
So if anyone can help, much appreciated, if not its a return to amazon.

Same problem. Will ask Amazon for another keyboard but I'm expecting this tablet to go back.

People have mentioned problems in the past, did a wee search and copied whats below from another user on a different thread -

OK got this sorted: when the keyboard is paired, got to Control Panel>Devices and Printers>"Devices" should show the keyboard. Right Click>properties>Services> ensure that "Drivers for keyboard, mice etc" is ticked. Then OK back to the desktop.
Solved it for me!

Hi open the back and check to see if the tiny rippon cable that connects the motherboard to the docking connection has come loose or is crooked I had this problem on my linx spent hours messing around with the software with no success then I open the back to find the ribbon was seated crooked in its fitting I undone the clip that holds it straightened the cable closed the clip put the back cover back on and bingo problem solved works perfect now hope this helps.
