I have Windows 10 and Intel driver Ref 10.18.10.4358 - said to be updated.

Intel refer me to The Manufacturer but I regret I have not found a relevant thread yet - hence this new one.

I am not very IT technically competent, & so I may have missed something obvious.

Advice is welcomed,

Thank you in anticipation, if you can help.

Personally I don't use adaptive brightness as I find it distracting, but is available in Windows 8 or later.

Here is how to find it in Windows 10.

Go into options and choose:

System
Power and Sleep
Additional power settings
Change plan setting (or create a new plan if you prefer)
Change advanced power settings
Enable adaptive brightness
