Recommended bluetooth gamepads?
After reading how good these are at running a few older PC games I am keen to give this a try.
Any advice on cheap gamepads?

Have you tried an Amazon fire tv game pad?

They pair via Bluetooth, and you can return it for free if it's not great

Your best bet on a PC is something that's XInput compatible - i.e. uses the same driver/protocols as an Xbox 360 controller. You'll probably find the widest range of compatibility with XInput. I don't know whether bluetooth controllers are XInput compatible however...

Cool, I never thought of looking for a bluetooth controller. Do they even exist? If I were to use a controller, in all likely hood I'd just use my 360 controller, because I find it's so damn good. xD

Here's a YT review of it, seems very responsive and it will accomodate tablets up to 10" :
