A new Linx 8" tablet is incoming, badged up as the Linx 810.

Specs look very similar to current model and ties in with the new 10" Linx 1010 which I wrote about earlier here:

Looks to be launching on 24th August 2015 - so not long until more info and reviews should begin to surface.

In the mean time you can find more details here:

Lets hope they bump the RAM up to 2GB and offer a 64 GB option (probably at an increased price)

I think these small changes would make this tablet perfect!

An official folio case wouldn't go amiss either!

As far as I'm aware, from what I've been told on my call with Exertis last week, the 810 is the same as the Linx 8 spec wise, just has W10 preloaded.

I'll be making an announcement in the next couple of days when the full spec sheets get sent to me, should be by Wednesday!

Gah - where's Cherry Trail!

Almost certain to order a Teclast X98 Pro in this case when they come out. Full HD, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC and 2.24GHz Cherry Trail CPU.

Does not look exciting based in info supplied unlike the 1010.

No 1 year office 365?

On the face of it you get a better deal buying an 8.1 and upgrading.

As the 810 is only an 8" tablet does it support desktop?
MS stated at one time new tablets would only have tablet mode (not sure if desktop apps would work).
They did permit full W10 as upgrades though.
