Hi,

I'm a little worried too, I bought a Linx 7 yesterday. Went to update it in windows update. Said it had 600mb worth of updates to install. Started installing them, but was hanging at 30% left it all day and when I got in it was still hanging so I restarted it and now it won't come on!!

It's fully charged, the blue light comes on when the charger is plugged in but other than that it seems dead!

Help!!

Did you ever find a way to bring it back to life ?

On normal PCs, when faced with huge sets of updates that never seem to finish I find the answer is to bale out, and install any uninstalled updates a few at a time. Do the really big ones one at a time. My suspicion is that the machines run out of resources and can't cope. And I'm not just talking about old XP machines, I've experienced this with both Win 7 and Win 8 machines which had had to be completely reset and then started downloading years' worth of updates.
