Bluetooth - choppy sound via stereo bluetooth

Postby kokesh » January 12th, 2016, 2:13 pm

It was all fine until about half of December, now it stutters and after couple seconds gets silent, than after some time starts stuttering again. SOmetime I get few seconds of good sound. I have the stereo headset set as default device. My device is Sony SBH20 BT headset, which works flawlessly with other Win10 machines.

Any ideas?

Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried connecting to four different Bluetooth speakers and headphones and on each one, the sound is choppy. I've updated to the latest realtek drivers but this makes no difference.

There seems to be a number of people posting the same problem but as yet I haven't seen a solid fix confirmed for it.

If anyone has one, I'd love to hear it.

I've fixed it, I think by installing newer BT driver and than switching between new and old it somehow started to work.
Also you can try to go to Devices, go to your BT headset->Services and disable telephony (or communications... can't remember).
Anyways - now it works.

Just as an added help to Kokesh's solution, it may also help to give your tablet a quick sprucing up with Superantispyware. You'll be amazed at how many trackers and PUP's can accumulate and affect your entire system performance. Once you've run it close it and make sure that in your preferences you tell it not to start when Windows starts. As with all these programs, as good as they are, you don't need it running in the background.

I'm having the same problem and can't seem to fix it. Can someone point me in the right direction of which driver to download to sort it? Many thanks
