Stuck at startup

Postby Bakkendk » October 9th, 2015, 11:40 am

So my Lamina T-701 (same is the Linx 7) is stuck at the loading screen to Windows. I happend after I tried to install a different wifi-driver.

The tablet had been upgraded to Windows 10 out of the box.

I have seen other topics about this subject, but those are inconclusive.

When I hold down the Volume up + turn on keys, the tablet promts me for a recovery media.

A friend of mine have the exact same tablet, and I have Intel Compute stick, also running Windows 8.1 bing -> upgraded to Windows 10.

So.. any suggestions to what I could do from here? I am fairly optimistic at this point, because I have access to some similar functioning machines.

Thanks!

So fixed it.
I crated a recovery disk (Windows 10 Home) on a flashdrive from my Intel Compute Stick. I then used the complete reset of Windows-option in the Windows 10 installer on the tablet - that way I could reset the Windows OS without having a activation key. After manually installing some of the drivers from this site, the tablet now runs perfectly again.
