I have a Linx 7 which was working perfectly until a few weeks ago.

I use the tablet to stream tv to my LG TV via a hdmi lead.

Now what happens is that every time I insert the hdmi lead the touch screen stops responding. If I remove the lead the touch screen springs into life again.

I should add that I also have a Linx 1010b and that tablet is showing exactly the same problem now.

This behavior seems to have started after the latest MS updates auto installed.

Unfortunately I can't roll back the updates. I've also tried uninstalling and removing the display adapter drivers and reinstalling them , with no effect.

Device manager does not show any driver issues.

A usb mouse still works with the hdmi lead connected, so I'm pretty confident the issue is limited to the touch screen; ie the tablet isn't hanging.

I'm hesitant in reinstalling the touch screen drivers as I'm worried about creating more problems.

Any thoughts?
