My question is can it be used to run an Android OS? if so how do I do it?
Virtually, you can run Android with no glitches using AmiDUOS on Windows, however, because it is virtual
it isn't very fast; but is quite good for daily use and did run a couple of 3d games when I tested it on my Linx 10.
If you want to run real Android
you can do so with Android-x86, however, there is quite a lot of problems with bay trail tablets such as GL drivers, oritentation not working, no sound, wifi possibility of it working. On one Dell Tablet baytrail like ours, the sound released a toxic smell, so it's also possible for the tablet to burn; testing any experimental kernels on Android-X86 is disencouraged.
So try AmiDuOS, much safer, everything works and lollipop! If price is a issue, there are also free emulators like MEmu which also runs well on this tablet.
