Games on the Linx 7

Well, I installed a few games to see how well it handles.

I started easily enough with a My Little Pony game for my daughter who absolutely loved it and it worked well. I then tried something a little more taxing, Minion Rush. This worked perfectly with no glitches at all and wonderful graphics.

Finally, I installed Asphalt 8 Airborne. What can I say? It is superb in every way! It's smooth, looks superb and handles with ease. I was very happy indeed. :P

This thing is better than any tablet I've ever had and for just £59, it's a bloody steal!!!

Not really had much success so far with games. I've downloaded a few from my Steam list but I really wanted to play them without a kb/mouse attached. Most PC games are not designed with a touch friendly interface, I've been playing with on screen controllers but still not gotten things the way I would like them...

Also I discovered DOSBox has a funny issue where it will quit on startup if there is no mouse attached to the machine. There is a patch DLL which you can get however which enables a virtual mouse pointer - it's super useful. In case it helps anyone else, here's a video showing it

and a direct link to the patch DLL You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register

To give to an idea as to what's possible, I've been running Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2 on my 7 with great success.

I'll post a guide to what I did to get it working on another thread :)

Post some screenshots! We need more eyecandy on this forum :P

Ah Morrowind will be the next game I try. Are you running just ordinary Morrowind or using any visual / performance enhancing patches? There's also OpenMW ;-)

Just vanilla morrowind, I doubt the tablet could handle enhanced visual packs, it struggles with towns with a lot of people in them, but it does work and that alone makes me glad I sold my iPad mini to buy this tablet.
