The stream just stutters for me even if I am in the same room as the xbox. Has anyone had this work well on a Linx 8?

Yup here - works fine in the same room on high quality, and anywhere in the house on low quality.

Thanks. I noticed my measured bandwidth is crap over wifi, only 7m on average. Guess I'll try a USB micro - ethernet connection instead. Can anyone recommend one?

I finally set my Linx 10 up with Windows 10 and tried some XBox One streaming last night.
It was a bit hit and miss. Generally it ran just fine, the odd stutter here and there but playable but the Linx 10 did just crash out and freeze giving out a loud "buzzzzzzzzzzzz" and had to hard reset on a couple of times.
Anyone else having the XBox One app crash or the Linx crash whilst streaming?

I tried this on the 1010 and It stutters occasionally and the audio lags. I posted on the preview forums about it over at xbox.com and someone said the linx 1010 didn't meet the minimum requirements of 4GB RAM. I then pointed out the surface 3 (not pro) entry model also only had 2GB RAM.

Anyway, it stuttered occasionally so I wouldn't use it for anything critical like COD or Titanfall but perhaps casual games like Peggle 2. I was playing rare replay too and it worked fine.

I got the streaming working great well chuffed, just woundering how you guys are working around the one USB port on the linx7, as it takes the battery real quick. So how do I charge and have a controller plugged in?

I just leave my controller connected to the xbox and do it that way round. It doesn't have to be plugged into the Linx.
