Steam In Home Streaming

Postby Cazomino05 » January 16th, 2015, 12:42 pm

I thought I'd give out this bit of information as it might help for some of you anyway:

Steam offers an in home streaming service which allows you to stream games from a computer to another (for instance a gaming PC to a tablet)

depending on your network type and interference it might require LAN or a better network card (the one in my 10" tablet doesn't support the 5Ghz band which shouldn't be as bad for interference)

You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register

but the flip side is you could play any game your PC or Laptop could play (I'm playing Crysis 2 fairly happily at maximum settings) just plug a controller or keyboard and mouse into the tablet and play as if it were on the tablet :)

Works great over WiFi using an Xbox 360 pad & wireless receiver.

I didn't realise Moga worked with Windows. I have one for my phone. How do I get it working?
