Steam & Xbox streaming

General chit-chat on the Linx 7

Steam & Xbox streaming

by crazygoldfish » July 21st, 2015, 10:39 am

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if they have tried steam streaming to the linx 7 and what the performance is like.

Also it would be good if the Xbox one could stream to this tablet when windows 10 is released.

Thanks

I can confirm Xbox streaming works perfectly on all the Linx tablets, i've been playing with it the past couple of weeks!

Well just got my Linx from the postman 32gb version new for 36quid . Well chuffed.

Just tried streaming batman Arkham knight. Was smooth as butter.

Just running updates on it now.

Tried to boot off my windows ten USB drive but not quite figured out how to do that just yet.

It was an eBay rookie with 2 feedback. Was a bit of a punt. Blurry image and poor description

Ive been tinkering with router settings and everything and for the life of me I cannot get the Xbox streaming app to work reliably. It picks up my Xbox, streaming works and even testing stream says all three settings work fine, but picture quality is pixilated, stuttery and downright unplayable. Xbox one is wired to my superhub router and the tab is no more than 6 foot from my router. Surely performance should be better than this?.

On a side note steam streaming works perfectly.

Is your Xbox wired or wireless ? If it's wireless I wouldn't be surprised if that was the issue
