Unfortunately the first reviews aren't looking that good as I was looking to buy the Pro. It's a really good tablet, but the cooling simply isn't adequate enough - hopefully they can sort out a new heatsink which will remedy it!

Hi nememo, on the Youtube review they said pretty much the same - the discussions on the forum below might be worth watching as I'm interested too!

Apparently there will be a second batch in September, might be worth holding onto your wallet, or purse! till then? You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register
I opened up the tablet today: You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register
Heat spreader and thermal pads seem okay, but not up to the job. My unit is faulty? Bad Atom X5 batch? No idea until I get a second unit, either way I would hold of on buying this one for now as mine has heat issues and some throttling.

A MUCH more in-depth Chinese review is mentioned on there, here You need to be registered to view this link, please log-in or register

I was really really hoping for the best with this, but I think I'll hold off till they either fix the issues or another manufacture comes out with the same specs but without the issues.

Yeah, you're right. It's already a gamble buying a Chinese tablet, without the worry that you may be getting the wrong batch! Best waiting to see what else appears on the market...

Perhaps one of the best reasons for choosing a Linx is this forum.

I agree, was a factor in my decision knowing there is good support.

I was looking forward to Linx's next 10" tablet (with Windows 10) but it is very disappointing, barely any different from the last model where it counts.

The next tablet I get will be something of a similar spec to the Telcast X98 Pro or Onda V975W...
