Lynx 1010

I came back from holiday after 9 days and tried to switch my Lynx 1010 tablet on. nothing, so I plugged in the charger a red light showed for seconds then went off. I have had it on charge for quite a few hours and nothing. That was a few days ago and I have had it on charge each day. What can I do please??
