Would recommend the Samsung ones though as the Samsung SSD's are probably the best you can get for Desktop PC's so I would put my faith in the microsd's.

Just such a minefield as both Ebay and Amazon have fake card sellers. Just check the reviews before buying.

Does anyone have the same problem with the SD Card disappearing and then needed to be removed and placed again? Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi,

at least one of the cards recommended here is a U3 card, is it worth the extra money over the U1 cards?

U3 is the newer of the two. The U1 and U3 designation signifies its guaranteed minimum transfer rate

U1 means that it is guaranteed to transfer at a minimum of 10 MB/s whereas U3 it's guaranteed to transfer at a minimum of 30 MB/s.

cheers

Stick wuth U1 cards but choose Samsung or SanDisk those both give at least 21MB/s read and 14MB/s write class 10 is more than enough. Bios may have an option to change the ddr25 to ddr50 allowing much higher speeds from a u1 card but it seems people have mixed results even on the same maes of card i suggest picking up the ultra sandisk or the samsung recommended here.

I can't confirm it though as I don't have a card that large!

Yeah i saw that, hopefully we'll have someone confirm it for us and we'll get the 128gb added!

I can confirm that a 128gb micro SD card works. This is the one I bought:

I will test it with H2testw just to make sure it will read and write properly.
