Paul, take you missed the forum section for Downloads etc etc. All information you need is in there.
To answer though, no it will not work correctly. Its different hardware.

If you have been using your Vision with your M$ account. Then you could just go the route of doing a fresh clean install using my clean install recovery image.
I do also have an as new before switch on backup image of the original setup. However I cant remember if I uploaded it or not.

A little late to the party I know, but a big thank you to the OP for saving my bacon, and saving my Linx 10 from the ugly clutches of a sketchy Win10 upgrade. If I could buy you a pint, I would.

Peace and love!

Just another update;

I bought a used Linx 7 off ebay and tried the OP's guide but it didn't work. I was using a 64GB USB drive and after staring at the OP's screenshots it was getting formatted with "FAT32 (large)" and a different cluster size with no other FAT32/cluster options available.

I've dug out a 8GB USB drive and its now working and correctly setting the filesystem/cluster size as per the screenshots in this thread.

So if you're having problems check your drive isn't too large! :)

Is there an alternate link available as the free download account doesnt have suffient free bandwidth to allow me to download the Linx8 restore image, I now have an option of waiting over 5hrs to the download to complete or pay which seems a little unfair as all I want to be able to do is get my tablet back up and running!
