If you haven't made a USB Recovery stick and can't get into Windows then press and hold the power button for a few seconds then when the Linx logo is on screen and the device is powering up press the power button before the white dots appear on screen in a circular pattern. The device will turn off. Repeat this again and the device will again turn off. The next time you do it it will take you to the recovery screen which includes the option to reset it back to default settings (all user data will be lost).

Make sure it's charged/charging before you do this.

A keyboard isn't required for any one of the above but changing some BIOS settings can be fiddly without one although not impossible.

I haven't got a keyboard and I want to install from USB. I go into recovery using the power button on/off method boot from USB, it launches into Windows install but I cannot navigate to click the next button.
How do I navigate round the installation screen with or without a keyboard?
Even if I had a keyboard the USB stick is taking the usb port!!!!
Reluctantly running Windows 10 Pro until I can find a way of Downgrading!

You need a 3 port USB Hub OTG adaptor - similar to this one

You *will* also need a USB keyboard and mouse. With three ports you can plug them all in at the same time

Make sure that you connect everything up before you power on. Sometimes, under certain circumstances, the firmware "loses" the keyboard or mouse/trackball. Try unplugging each, a few seconds apart, wait a further few seconds, then plug in again.

Most USB hubs work fine.. that said, I've had trouble with some branded ones.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE

I have stupidly altered bios settings in my linx7 that I was not sure about. I have changed the default setting from s0 to s5,( forget which option does that now). However I have also managed to disable otg so entering the bios by USB keyboard is out of the question. The tablet doesn't boot now. Screen stays black, none of the buttons seem to work as they did either, and I have no knowledge on how to reset the bios back to default without actually being able to get in there.

Is there any hope?? Please help if you can, the tablet isn't mine.

I can confirm this does work with our tablets in case you cannot get into windows :)

Thank you kind sir, you're a real crap-cutter and a star, fair play to you... Happy new Year :D
