I got one yesterday - it's perfect
One of the best things is that the charger is micro hdmi, so i can comfortably use a 3 metre cable constantly plugged in, charging from my usb hub (powered)
Installed Firefox /set it as default started running like a pig.
I hate windows 10, but we'll see. If it fails once as it has on every device i've had, i'm blowing the partitions off and putting 8.1 on there.

Absolutely nothing wrong with windows 10, once you dump all the crap it has on it by default. Plus the fact your stuck on that stupid connected standby mode balanced powerprofile.
Firefox runs like a dog, simply because flash is completely screwed up. Been like it for atleast 5 years.

So you disabled connected standby in registery?
Plus you say firefox runs like a pig, then you say it doesn't.

As I said, nothing wrong with windows 10. Have it running perfect on my linx.
Never had any version of windows fail in the sence it wont boot. Only time I have, its due to me messing with MBR etc. etc.

Hi all,

I've bought the 4GB variant recently- 12x64

4GB 64GB Atom x5-8350

So far so good! Nice keyboard, good touchpad but a bit annoying that I can't turn off windows gestures as they happen quite randomly :(

Screen is fabulous at 12.5 inch and 1080p (part of why I bought this) and 1 proper USB port plus micro HDMI

Sound is less than impressive, I thought it would be much better on headphones/external speakers but output is muffled and low. No sound driver updates from Intel (SST WDM), neither will there ever be since Atom is dumped I guess.

Good Battery

Intel updated graphics to .4624 from the installed .4444. May be its just my eyes but the softness of the font edges was better on the old build.

Joined the forum to see if someone has the original set of drivers just in case needed anytime.

So far very happy with this, the Atom does get sluggish with 3 things trying to run (especially the intrusive windows background tsks every now and then) Otherwise, on normal running and a bit of multitasking the 4GB RAM does its job.
