It's great to hear that, I assume everything works on it like I have tested on my Linx7?

Hi, I have just bought a Linx 7 with Windows 10 upgrade on it but it's crashing and not a good experience. If I follow your guide will I still be able to update to anniversary update etc once it's done without all the driver issues?

Windows update just failed all the time and drivers were missing so I am currently trying to update via other routes to get it stable

You need to sort out your driver issues first. As it will not fix that.
Check the downloads board, see if there are any base drivers there.

Yes, that is why I wanted to go this image route as it claims to have all the drivers baked in?

Am I not reading that right?

Thanks

If thats the case, just download image from first page and install it. I thought, you were wanting to update just to see if it fixes issues.

The image of v1511 as is, will work OK, but will NOT allow upgrade to 1607, due to the wrong partition scheme.
The image itself (.wim) is OK, but the diskpart script needs to be changed to create UEFI GPT layout

Is this something that can be done on systems once we've installed this image, or are we not going to be able to update going forward?

Also, does anyone have a link which isn't on Mega, an thus stuck behind a download cap which is asking me to wait 6 hours before downloading the final 15%?
