I'm being spammed so much by this site, and it's irritating to have to keep checking and deleting the E-Mails. Can you please include the option to disable or enable thread subscriptions and E-Mail notifications? If it's already there, can you point me in the right direction, as I couldn't see it anywhere.

Hey, they can get a bit annoying :p just go to user settings at the top of the page, then click manage subscriptions and you can unsubscribe there

Tell me about it. xD Thank you, however, I knew about that page but still end up automatically subscribing to God knows what and receiving a bunch of E-Mails, apparently without my consent. x_x

In the User Control Panel on the Board Preferences tab, select "Edit posting defaults" from the left then set "Notify me upon replies by default" to No.

I didn't realise it was automatically set to yes by default, I'll have a look at that later!

Just updated the user registration settings, new users will now not be notified unless they turn this on in the UCP, and i've run a query for existing users to turn it off too, so you'll now not get any notifications unless you turn it back on.

Sorry, didn't realise this was an issue since i've got a different email address set up on here to the one i use day to day!

Have the settings been reset in the last couple of days?
I've just had a notification email, checked the UCP and the notification setting is turned back on again?

Not that I have changed myself no?

I'll look into this as I've got a few emails myself!

It's different when there are a few choice threads you're subscribed to, but when you're posting everywhere you do get a bit of a deluge :P

My suggestion is just to subscribe to threads you are particularly interested in.
