setting up my e-mail

by andyu » November 21st, 2016, 2:51 pm

Just received my new 1010 Lynx tablet and can't set up my email - message states 'not synced' and email settings out of date. I've updated my provider settings to no avail. When I go into 'Fix Account' the password seems to be 16 characters and even when I change this to my password of 9 - this returns to 16 when checking again - is this relevant?

A lot more information is needed here. Which email software (client) are you using and who is your email service provider?

For example, "The default Windows 10 email app and Gmail email account"

We don't need any personal information or passwords, etc.

As popc0rn said more info needed.

However on password, thats fine. Its an added bit of security. It makes your password look longer than it is.
lots of things do this now.
