Can anyone shed some light on the issues with drivers going missing during upgrade to the latest windows 10 build.?
Do the drivers have any compatibility issues.
Problem I'm faced with is drivers going missing after the upgrade. After searching for possible fixes through linx managed
to find drivers needed and followed the correct procedure for downloading them on a flash drive, unzipping them and
installing on the linx devices (7 & 8) What drivers that did install worked well apart from the sensors. now i'm stuck with inverted
orientation. Tablet held vertically screen goes into portrait if i hold it the other way portrait mode, it's inverted vertically upside down.
One other test done. recovered and reset the device to delete the old windows version cleaning the drive completely, low and behold,
drivers went missing again meaning i'm back to the same issue i had when i upgraded, missing or unknown drivers which cannot be
updated/ without reinstalling them
As a result these quality tabs have one foot in the bin unless i can get some inspiration and fix ideas.

I recommend using my driver pack instead. The links in the second post.

Issues occur after each major Windows upgrade because the upgrade process will try to change drivers.

I have found that if you download windows update assistant and upgrade through that, it doesnt screw up drivers.
Someone pointed this out before and I tried stock Vision from new image and upgraded straight to latest this way as a test.

When I use the upgrade assistant and my Linx 810 reboots I get the message

Code: Select all

Recovery
Your PC/Device needs to be repaired
There isn't enough memory available to create a ramdisk device.
Error code: 0xc0000017
How did you get around this?
