Another option and the one I use (in fact I'm typing on it now) is the £13.99 Tecknet X340 combined mini keyboard and touchpad mouse.

No you wouldn't write a novel on it but when using a second screen especially I find it really useful. Btw, although the Amazon pic shows US keyboard layout mine came with UK keyboard layout.

I have the tecknet mouse and it works well alongside firegestures addon in firefox, however it will cause a blue screen of death if i try to use it too soon after system boot up, no problems if linx is coming out of sleep mode though atm.

Just received the £7 Bluetooth gaming one from Memteq (http://www.amazon.co.uk/MEMTEQ-Wireless-Bluetooth-Optical-Notebook/dp/B00ENY20WA/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1434062362&sr=1-3&keywords=bluetooth+mouse) which has back /forward buttons.

Works well with the Linx 8, even in casual gaming (HL opposing force). Surprisingly large base under the thumbs area, material quality is adequate, well made with no sharp edges. For some reason on some apps, the forward and back buttons are reversed. Definitely a good buy so far.

Any thoughts?

I have one of these, can't fault it for the price. It's a good, solid mouse that connects and works well. I don't see any lag or judderiness either.
