Cable arrived this morning.
Plugged in and working at full HD on my AOC 23" screen.

Very impressed with the Linx 8 being able to do this, and the HDMI cable working so well.

You have to enable the second screen.
If you have it mirrored then you only get the same resolution and the tablet.

Gotcha, so I need to be using a mouse as the tablet screen will be off. Thanks.

I have a problem with the HDMI output. It keeps rotating to portrait view meaning it is sideways up on my tv. Even when I set it to landscape on external screen only. Sometimes It displays correctly and then when I open an app it rotates again. The only way I can get the screen to display correctly is to extend the desktop instead of using external screen only.

I have a problem with HDMI because Intel are bloody idiots and have removed scaling options from there driver software, for some unknown bloody reason. :|

I'm completely baffled as to why they've done this and why they won't listen to all of it's customers and put the full scaling options back.

This has been a problem for over a year now for many people with devices that use Intel HD graphics.

It's impossible to get my TV to display any resolution correctly other than 1024x768.
