Barcode Scanner not working

Hi, i am testing the built in bar code scanner and i am finding that i press the button to scan a barcode and it beeps but then nothing comes up on screen or anything?
Even tried having notepad open whislt scanning and wouldnt input the number into there?
What application should be opening to save the barcode?
Also does the barcode scanner work over usb? As i need it to work over the com port to be compatible with my company's software.

I'm having the same issue... any one know where the barcode configuration settings are located?

Hello.

I have received a solution from Linx support!

"The TT ships with the barcode setup as HID-POS (scan barcodes to an app) but it does support HID-KBW mode.
To setup the barcode for Keyboard emulation (so it acts like a keyboard so a scanned barcode will appear in desktop apps like notepad, Excel, etc.) you have to scan the barcodes attached (In number order) to change the setup. "

Problem is i dont know how to upload to this forum?

Did they give you a new driver?

Uploaded the barcodes to change the configuration of the barcode reader to keyboard wedge:
