Many thanks rodonn, I did as you suggested deleted it, and then re-installed the latest new camera drivers (downloaded from the command centre) and bingo sorted! Why isn't it called a camera ? Because it's an imaging signal processor of course. Sampling two optical sensors front and back to act as cameras.
Delete it and scan for new hardware
If its broke and it doesn't turn on you probably wanna post in here.
