Linx 8 vs Linx 10

Postby grezmel » May 17th, 2015, 10:08 pm

Does anyone own both Linx 8 and Linx 10 who can advise if there is much speed difference for normal use between the two. I appreciate that the 10 inch has 2 gig ram, but wondered if there was a noticeable difference between the two with browsing and general tasks.

Hi,

I have both and speed is no the issue. I tend to use the 82 as a tablet and the 10" more has a laptop replacement.
Running desktop apps on the 8" you will eventually get the running out of memory message from time to time.
To be honest i wish they made the 8" with 2GB ram, then i could install bluestacks and would be sorted.

I've not tried it, but there's a thread on xda for installing bluestacks with 1GB.
