General chit-chat on the Linx 8

Battery wear

by Deleted User 9450 » January 14th, 2016, 10:26 am

My tablet is showing 42% wear after just 4 cycles. Is this accurate? or is the battery defective? Can get about 3 and a half hours usage out of a full charge.

It's not accurate.
It's not the battery that's defective:

Just curious, what kind of battery life are people getting on average?

I think the standby online mode is screwed... I get ~4-6 hours of usual usage from full charge of constant usage (when im traveling etc.) or, it goes flat within 12 hours of standby.

I personally created a shortcut to hibernate mode on the desktop and use that... with that on, the battery actually lasts for months in standby as you would expect.

I only get 3 hours of usage, not matter how much i turn off wifi etc. Are there any drivers that might be causing my poor battery life?
